Mrs. Madeleine Hall Allen, 64, of 525 West 5125 South, Washington Terrace, died Monday, March 14, 1977, at the Univrsity of Utah Medical center of a heart attack.

She was born Sept. 29, 1912, in Portage, a daughter of George E. and Rosabel Warren Hall.

She was married to F. Doug Allen in Brigham City on June 6, 1931. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple on June 14, 1946.

She had been employed by the Smith Food King company as a meat packer for 11 years, retiring in 1974.

She lived in Portage until 1940 when she moved to Ogden. She graduated from Bear River High school.

She is a member of the Washington Terrace Filth LDS ward and the Eagles auxiliary, Aerie 2472, of Ogden.

Surviving are her husband of Washington Terrace, three sons and two daughters, Covel D. Allen, Phoenix, Ariz.; Dennis H. Allen, Granger; Douglas J. Allen, Mrs. Lynn (Darlene) Slat- er, Miss Cherie Allen, all of Ogden; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters. Wendell C. Hall, Portage; Taft Hall, Sunnyvale, Calif.; Mrs. Arlene Cook, La Palma, Calif.; Mrs. Chet (Dorothy) Cannon, San Diego, Calif.

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 11 a.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial chapel in Ogden with Bishop Lamont Shupe of the Washington Terrace Fifth ward officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to services.

Interment will be in Portage cemetery.
