Stanley is the son of Blackie Sr. He was an outside cat, although he only stayed in his back yard, under the deck, or inside the porch in a heated dog house. He was rather spoiled. But he suffered a stroke and went under the deck to die. We could not have him suffer so we took the deck apart and went to the Dr. last night to have him put to sleep. Part of me feels so bad because he chose where to end his life, but I felt it was my desision to have him not suffer and given medacation to calm him. We miss opening the back door and having him walk in, not giving a hoot about the other cats or dogs. This will be the first time we have not had any outside animals. Again..life can suck, but just look at what we had!!
