Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in East Amarillo Church of Christ with Fred Riley officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd.
Mrs. Cutrell was born Nov. 27, 1928, in Silverton. She married Roy Cutrell on Nov. 1, 1947, in Memphis. Bettye was a member of East Amarillo Church of Christ. Bettye and Roy started Cutrell Trucking Co. in 1961 and retired from the business in 1992. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon in 2001.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Judy DeShong and husband Murphy of Amarillo; two sisters, Imogene Day and Margaret Murdock, both of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Kristi Allen and husband Tony of Amarillo; two grandsons, Chip Gress and Shaun DeShong and wife Michelle, all of Amarillo; a great-grandson, Dustin Allen of Amarillo; and a great-granddaughter, Cassidy DeShong of Amarillo.
