Mrs. Jaeke was a member of the United Methodist Church of Shelton, was a 50-year member and past matron of the Shelton Chapter of the Order of the Easter Star, was a 50-year member and past president of Chapter B.I. and P.E.O. of Shelton, the Grand Island Woman's Club, and the Liederkranz. She also served 30 years on the election board, 30 years as the secretary/treasurer of the local unit of the Salvation Army, and the Buffalo County Hospital Authority Board.
She also served on the Shelton Board of Education and was active in may civic and fund-raising drives.
