"John Allison, 52, a coal miner and a resident of Danville for several years, died at the Vermilion county hospital at 6:30 Wednesday morning of complication. He had been a patient in the hospital the last eight months. since coming to Danville, Mr. Allison, his wife, Mrs. Mary Thatcher Allison, their two daughters and four sons, have been making their home at 1309 McKinley Avenue. He was a native of Indiana born July 19, 1880, the son of Herk and Lizzie Allison. His widow and six children survive him. The body was then in charge by Berhalter and will be taken Thursday to the home of Mrs. Frank Johnson, 101 E 10th St., South Danville, sister of Mrs. Allison. Funeral services will be held at the United Brethren Church in Hillery Friday afternoon..Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery."
