Following are notes from the Gladstone Cemetery Record, transcribed by Laura Haase Junker:
Rickleff Ade Aden died in Holt County, Mo. June 21, 1913. Remains were brought to Gladstone and buried June 23rd in the German Evangelical Cemetery. Mr Aden was a former resident of this county, residing near Gladstone and has two sisters living here at this time, Mrs Fred Henkel near Powell, and Mrs Henry Mohling, near Bower. He was born Jan 2 near Cary, Ill, came to Jefferson county in 1870 and was married to Mary Otten in 1873. In 1890 the family moved to Kansas, where Mrs Aden died. Mr Aden then moved, with his five children, to Holt county, Mo. where he remained until his death. He had been a patient sufferer with Bright's disease.
