Walter J. Cox, 61, of 4718 Franklin Drive, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital after a brief illness.
He was a resident of Corpus Christi for 25 years. He was employed at Reynolds Sherwin Plant. He served in the Marine Corps during WWII and was a member of AWIU Local 235. Funeral services will be Friday at the Cage-Mills Downtown Chapel with the Rev. Robert Fink officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
