Baker - At the late residence, near Loami, Thursday, Oct. 4, 1901, after a severe attack of brain fever, Mrs. Essie Colburn Baker, wife of G. W. Baker, of this place, aged 35 years. Mrs. Baker had been ill for a long time and gradually grew worse about a week ago. She was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. P. Colburn, residing near Loami.

The funeral will take place this morning at 10 o'clock from the Christian church in Loami, where the interment will take place.
