FUNERAL SERVICE FOR DR. J. V. ADAMS HELD AT KELLY
Funeral services for Dr. J. V. Adams, of Kelly, were held In the chapel of the Riser Funeral Home April 14, at 2 pm. The officiating minister was Arthur L. Claus, of Monroe, with Riser Funeral Home in charge.
Dr. Adams was well known thru-out the state and especially in Caldwell Parish. He practiced medicine from 1908 until a few years ago when failing health made his retirement imperative. Until then, however, he was very active in his profession and he has been greatly missed by his friends. Following his retirement he moved from Columbia to Kelly, where he resided at the time of his death. He was born In Winn Parish Sept. 24, 1878.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. W. P. Bush, Columbia; four sons: Paul, Monroe; Sodus, Portland, Ore. ( Army); Gordon, Shreveport; Grady, Seattle, Wash.
