Beckum and a stepson Kirk Yeager. He was a member of
Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Beckum, his mother, Idaleen Beckum, and a stepdaughter, Debbie Pounds, all of Milledgeville; two brothers; Clifford Beckum and wife Wylene of Eatonton, Bill Beckum and wife Donna of Milledgeville; two sisters, Joan Jackson and husband Leon of Gordon, Laverne Johnson and husband Jack of Milledgeville; six step-grandchildren; and 3 step-greatgrandchildren.
