Wife of George Frederick Huger, daughter of Benjamin Franklin (Frank) & Martha Edith (Edith Walker) Barnhart.

Ethel enjoyed sewing and often worked as a seamstress out of her home. She enjoyed gardening and was espicially fond of her greenhouse and violets and playing the organ. She was a member of the Chrysanthemum Society and served many different leadership roles within the club.
