he grew up in Stone and Lawrence Counties in Missouri.
He married, Lydia J DeWitt from Christian Co MO
In the 1920 Chanute KS census he lived at 915 N Forest Ave Chanute KS
He moved the family to CA in 1928
In the 1930 cesus he lived at 1389 Maltman Ave Los Angeles
1940 Long Beach, CA census, Lydia & son Cletys are living with some boarders, she states she is widowed(which was not true), so I can only assume they separated before 1940
At the time of his death he worked for Disneyland,
his sister Gertrude had his ashes flown to IL and buried in Graymount,
his wife Lydia came back to MO, and is buried with her parents.
Neither Cletys, Max or Charles had sons,
daughter, Marguerite Anna had no children
although Charles and his wife did adopt a son, Mark.
