Huntingdon, April 3 -- Robert M. Briggs, aged 43, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Briggs of Burnt Cabins, died Monday evening in a hospital in Clarksburg, W. Va., following a throat operation two weeks ago. He was an automobile salesman. Besides his wife, who was Miss Della May Dean of Huntingdon, he is survived by six children, Anna, Ruth, Robert, Helen, Dorothy and Richard, all of 1423 Washington street, Huntingdon, also by two brothers, Ira Briggs of Altoona and Jesse Briggs of Burnt Cabins. The body will arrive in Huntingdon this evening and funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be made in the Riverview cemetery.
