Lady, or Ladybug as we often affectionately called her, was labrador/staffordshire terrier.

This was one very sweet dog. My husband found her as a puppy abandoned in a ditch on our dirt road one cold April morning. He said he couldn't just let this one die.

Lady was destined to always be a Daddy's Girl. She was always down at the gate waiting for his return home from work. And she was exceptionally brave and oh so loyal.

Lady was born with Hip Displasia. In spite of excellent vet care, medical treatments and therapy, this terrible disease took our nobel dog's young life. I found her one day under the pine tree unable to move, she could only whimper in pain. It was over the Thanksgiving Holidays but we rushed her to an emergency Vet. These wonderful people just couldn't save her. Lady now rests with her little buddy's, Trixie and Ruthie, under the ancient oak tree next to the cemetery next door. We miss you Ladybug. The squirrels are definitely getting uppity since you left.
