Friday, July 01, 2005 - Nettie Arlene Meaker, 91, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at Graham Oaks Care Center. A graveside funeral was held Friday, July 1, in the Panhandle Cemetery in Panhandle. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home in Graham.

Mrs. Meaker was born Nov. 11, 1913, in Borger to the late Thomas and Viola (Perdue) Bynum. She was a longtime resident of Panhandle and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orlando Meaker.

Survivors include four sisters, Kay Perry and Betty Brawner, both of Azle, Frances Musgrave of Borger and Anna Darnell of Calif; a brother, Don Bynum of Borger; and two grandchildren.

She had two children with Carl Howard Williams.
A daughter, Doris Marie Williams (1932 - 1944) and a son, Elbert Elwood Williams (1937 – 1999).
