Ruthie was 1/2 miniature schnauzer and 1/2 Trixie (her mama dawg). Trixie mated with a pure bred Mini by the name of Hannibal. Trixie was part poodle and we think wire-haired fox terrier.
Ruthie was my little buddy and went with me nearly everywhere. I was there when she was conceived, born and died. She had stand-up ears and a VERY loud bark. I had some folks tell me she sounded like a german shepherd. My little girl developed cancer and has now crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She rests with her mama dog Trixie, and others she knew, under an ancient oak tree next to the cemetery next door. She waits in Doggie Paradise for her master to return and play 'sock' again. But I know she is with the Master that loves her best.
