Christine Margaret Moen, age 52, of Destin, Fla., passed away quietly in the morning of Friday, June 15, 2001.

Christine was born in Seattle, Wash. on June 6, 1949. Prior to moving to Destin, Christine resided in Grafton, Ohio.

Christine was an avid traveler. She had been to Norway, Switzerland, France, England, the Caribbean Islands, Alaska and Hawaii. Christine's favorite pastime was flying in her dad's airplane throughout the United States, with Las Vegas as their most frequent destination. Although her travels took her far, her favorite place to be was on the white beaches of Destin, where she loved driving her sports cars, especially her Corvette.

Christine was preceded in death by her mother Barbe, her brother David, and father Alfred Moen.

Christine will be greatly missed by her loving brother Eric and his wife Yvonne of North Ridgeville, Ohio; sister-in-law Edie Moen of Gibsonia, Pa.; her niece Sarah of Gibsonia, Pa.; nephews Jeremy (wife Julie), Nicholas (wife Justine), Shawn and Abe of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Alfred Moen of Gibsonia, Pa. She is also survived by four great nieces and nephews, her aunt Alva Humphries of Seattle, Wash. and many cousins. Flowers are acceptable.

Friends will be received at the McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Avenue, Fort Walton Beach, Monday, June 18, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, at 10 a.m. in Fort Walton at the McLaughlin Mortuary Chapel.

McLaughlin Mortuary is entrusted with arrangements.
