Mrs. Betty J. Forester, 75, of Sumiton died Saturday, June 26, 2004, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton in Birmingham.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at the Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in the Shanghi Cemetery. John Lively will officiate. Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. today, June 28, at the funeral home. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton will direct.
Mrs. Forester is survived by one son, Ray Forester Jr. and his wife, Sue of Empire; four daughters, Barbara Smitherman of Clanton, Linda Downs and her husband, Tom of Jasper, Patra Corbin and her husband, Steve of Birmingham, and Kim Rainey and her husband, Tommy Joe of Sumiton; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and special friend, Patricia Saylor.
