Born in Parkin, she had lived in Parkin and Osceola before moving to Jonesboro 37 years ago. She was a homemaker, had worked for a bank for more than 20 years and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Crook Jr. of Jonesboro; a son, William "Bill" Crook III of Buxton, N.C.; two daughters, Libby Lusby of Fayetteville and Carolyn Caldwell of Hernando, Miss.; five sisters, Johnnie Graishe of Compton, Calif., Nona Cockrell of Laurel, Miss., and Mary Jo Reardon, Linda Littlejohn and Barbara Dye, all of Forrest City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert A. and Reba Lancaster Weeks, and one brother Marvin Weeks.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Crittenden Memorial Park, with Ken Young officiating. Thompson-Wilson Funeral Directors of Wynne is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Memorials may be made to the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library in Jonesboro, the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society or Central Baptist Church.
