Clarence Ervin Burgamy, 52, died Tuesday in an Atlanta Hospital.
Mr. Burgamy was retired as an officer with the Milledgeville Police Department and as a security guard at the Milledgeville Youth Develope Center.
Survivors include his wife, Osie Ann Doke Burgamy of Milledgeville; two daughters, Beth Newsome of Jewell and Terrie Braxley of Milledgeville; three stepsons, Terry Lowery and Kenneth Lowery, both of Milledgeville, and Michael Lowery of Gordon; two sisters, Betty Burgamy and Helen McDade, both oy Milledgeville; and eight grandchildren.
