Opal Dorothy Anderson, the daughter of Olof and Cecilia (Bengtssons) Anderson was born July 28, 1914 in Martin County, Minnesota. She received her education in District #92 rural school in Elm Creek Township, Martin County. On March 3, 1951 she was united in marriage to Roy Peck at Sherburn, Minnesota. After their marriage they farmed near Cushing, Wisconsin until retiring moving to Trimont, Minnesota in 1993. Roy died on March 16, 1997. Opal later became a resident of Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James, Minnesota.
Opal was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Trimont, Minnesota.
Opal is survived by her three daughters, Susan Leibold of Brainerd, Minnesota, Avis Byers and her husband, Robin of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, Phylis Lowe of Balam Lake, Wisconsin; her son Frank and his wife, Nancy Byers of Chili, Wisconsin; daughter-in-law, Elsie Louis of Grantsburg,Wisconsin; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Opal was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, Roy; son Keith; four sisters and two brothers and other relatives.
