Obit abstract from The Panola Watchman (Panola Co TX), newspaper of 04 Oct 1911 - "Ward Dozier, old time Carthage resident, hit by a train near his house that knocked him and his buggy off the tracks also killing the mule and demolishing the buggy."
Family records indicate that Infant Son Dozier was born November 2, 1892, and died in 1893. He was a twin of Ward Allen Dozier who died in California, April 1978. Uncle Allen lived most of life in New Orleans, Louisiana.
