Millie Jean Catherine Brown, 77, Waynesville, died at 12:45 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2003, in Primrose Place Health Care Center, Springfield. Millie was born October 1, 1925, in Portageville, Missouri, to the union of Louis B. and Anna M. (Hurley) McAn- ally. She married Thomas Herman Brown on July 14, 1948, in Piggott, Ark. For over 40 years, Millie worked at Fort Leonard Wood as a telephone operations supervisor. She leaves two daughters: Elizabeth Tritten and her husband, David of Waynesville, Missouri, and Shari Balla and her husband, Chris of Springfield, Missouri; three brothers: L.B. McAnally of Fairborn, Ohio, Lowell McAnally of Doniphan, Missouri and Laddie McAnally of Shepard, Texas; five sisters: Canella Doris Hoggard of Portageville, Missouri, Patsy Ann Lowery of Doniphan, Missouri, Modesta Shaw of Fairborn, Ohio, Sue Anderson of St. Ann, Missouri, and Joan Berry of Glen Coe, Missouri; five grandchildren: Jason Tritten and his wife, Tracy, Elise and Noelle Tritten, and Nicholas and Isabel Balla; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. in Waynesville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery.
