Billy Eugene Barnes, of Sulphur OK, went home to Heaven on Saturday, May 6, 2006. He was born January 2, 1940, in Meadowbrook OK to Jack and Molly Barnes.

He served our country in the Air Force from 1957 to 1960, and married Eva Lois Hall on April 2, 1963. They lived in the Oklahoma City area until Eva's death in December, 1996, when he moved to Sulphur OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Molly Barnes, three sisters Katherine, Joann, and Hazel Fay, and brother Jack.

He is survived by his dear friend Geneva Bevins, daughter Kelly Kinman and grandsons Justin, Josh, Joe, and honorary grandson Jeremy Baxter; son Alan Sharp, his wife Janet, and grandchildren Jake, Ray, and Natalie and great-granddaughter Chelsea; son Russell Barnes and grandson Eric; brother Richard Barnes and his wife Helen of Germantown Wl; brother Kenneth Barnes of Willis OK; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 11, 2006, at Demuth Funeral Home, 1145 W. Britton Rd, Oklahoma City, OK, with an informal gathering to follow for family and friends at the CWA Union Hall, 5408 N. Santa Fe, Oklahoma City, OK. DEMUTH FUNERAL HOME 1145 W. Britton Rd. 843-5521
