Born in Denmark, Hannah came to America as a young girl with her mother and her sisters, Mimi and Sena. For unknown reason, her father stayed behind. Perhaps he was already deceased by then, or possibly just could not afford the trip. The four of them lived with relatives in Bennet, Nebraska for a while, but not much more is known about Hannah's childhood. At some point, she came to Lincoln and got a job as a maid. It was here where she was spotted by a young civil servant named Harley Wymore, and he knew immediately that she was going to be his wife. They were married, and bought a large house on a 2-acre lot, where they, along with her mother and sister, lived the rest of their lives. They had one son, Donald--my grandfather.
