The Roulette farm, just west of the Antietam Creek, rested in a hollow one mile northeast of the small village of Sharpsburg. On September 17, 1862, the Battle of Antietam begain, standing near the heart of the battlefield stood Roulette's farm. The former home of William Roulette is now being restored by the National Park Service.

They had children Carrie May Roulette died in infancy from Typhoid fever; Susan Rebecca Roulette married Charles A. Santee; and Benjamin Franklin Roulette

In memory of Freed Slave and nanny of more than thirty years, Miss Nancy Campbell.
