Graeme, 7, was a second-grader at Spring Hill School, and a charming and playful twin sister. She loved soccer, actively participated in swimming since the age of 3, and was a diving champion by the age of 6. Despite being one of the youngest competitors, she won a third-place medal at a local dive meet in the summer of 2001 — an accomplishment she treasured. Sadly, Graeme died tragically in what was called a drowning accident at the home of friends during a graduation party when she was sucked and entrapped in the drainage grate of the spa and drown. Attempts to pull her out in time were unsuccessful.
She is survived by her mother Nancy T. Baker; father James A. Baker IV; twin sister Jackie, sisters Rosemary, Hallie, Mary Stuart; and is the granddaughter of James Baker III, former Secretary of State under President George Bush.
