Wife of John Fletcher

-------

"Mrs. Catherine Fletcher, wife of John Fletcher, of near Maytown, died on Saturday night at her home after an illness of sometime, from the infirmities of age. She was a daughter of the late George Heim, and was born in Mt. Joy township in 1831. She had always lived in Lancaster County and most of the time near Maytown. In 1857 she was married to Mr. Fletcher, who survives her, with these children, who are the survivors of a family of nine: Abraham and Frank, of Maytown, and Mrs. Catherine Yingst, wife of Israel Yingst, Royersford. There are also 15 grandchildren. The funeral took place on Tuesday morning from the home at 9:30 and from the Bethel Church at Maytown, of which congregation she was a member, at 10 o'clock. The interment was made in the Union Cemetery at that place. "
