DUMAS — Services for Johnnie L. Baldwin, 74, of Dumas are set for 2 p.m. today at Sixth and Meredith Church of Christ with the minister of the church, Mike Smith officiating, assisted by Rev. Rick Korsmo, pastor of Bible Baptist Church of Dumas. Burial will follow in Dumas Cemetery with flag detail by the American Legion Post 224 of Dumas under the direction of the Morris Funeral Directors.

Mr. Baldwin died Saturday, April 22, 2006, in Amarillo.

He was born Aug. 23, 1931, in Sivells. He lived in Moore County since 1950. On June 26, 1952, he married Joyce Roberts in Sunray. She preceded him in death on Feb. 14, 1991. On April 4, 1992, he married Anita Woods in Dumas. He retired from Diamond Shamrock in 1995 after 35 years.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Baldwin of Dumas; daughters and son-in-law, Brenda Baldwin of Dallas and Debra and Alan Barton of Amarillo; step-daughter, Carla Kiser and husband, Robert of Waxahachie; sisters, Frankie Barnes of Sherman and Barbara Lee Newsom of Callisburg; brother, Roger Baldwin of Gainesville; and six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Disease; 2200 W. 7th; Amarillo, TX 79106.
