MRS. JOSEPHINE HAYNIE - died at the residence in Carey Park Thursday night. She is survived by her husband, Mr. George Haynie; three sons, Messrs, Newell, George M., Jr., and Edward Haynie; one daughter, Miss Betty Joe Haynie; two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at Carey Park Baptist Church Sunday afternoon, August 20, 1939, at 2 o'clock. Interment, Hollywood Cemetery. Barrett Funeral Home.

Cause of death - Esophageal obstruction - pulmonary tuberculosis.
