Carrie Etta Prewitt Baldwin was my maternal grandfather's mother (my great-grandmother). She married my great-grandfather, Hugh Allen Baldwin, in Cherryvale, KS, on July 5, 1891. I know she was always called Carrie Etta, and she died from complications after childbirth, from what was probably puerperal fever. I don't know a lot more about her, but I am doing some research and will add more as I learn it.
