Albert E. Andrews, 80, Shelbyville, died today at the home of his son.

Born July 1, 1920, in Dearborn, Mich., he was the son of William B. and Mabel (Martin) Andrews. He married Lois M. Hultin on July 10, 1948.

Mr. Andrews moved to Shelbyville from Dearborn in 1997.

He was employed in the engineering department at Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, for 39 years, retiring in 1980.

He was a life member of Dearborn Lodge 172 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Detroit, and Order of the Eastern Star, where he was past worthy patron, and a member of Shelbyville Community Church.

Survivors include his wife, Shelbyville; one son, Mark Andrew, Shelbyville; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home, with the Revs. Brad Davis and James Farnsley officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
