Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Hans Laurids Lund Sr.
A pioneer residentof this city, died at the family home Friday after a six months' illness from slow paralysis. Mr. Lund was born in Seest, Denmark, August 8, 1849. He and his wife, who was Margaret Juuler,embracd the L.D.S. faith in their native land and came to Utah more then fifty years ago and have resided in Mt. Pleasant sence.
Mr. Lund was a brother of President C.N. Lund who died seven years ago. He was an active church worker in the
South Ward and at the time of his death he was a member of the High Priests' quorum. His wife dided fifteen years ago. He is survied by the following sons and daughters:
Hans L. Lund Jr. James L. Lund and Joseph L. Lund all of Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Mary Christensen of Ephraim, Mrs. Earl Jackman of Salt Lake, Mrs. Emma Dalby of Levan and Mrs.A.C. Jensen of Sandy, and twenty one Grandchildren.
Funeral services, was in chargh of Bishop A.L. petersen,
well be held in the South Ward Chaple at 3 o'clock Sunday after noon.
