Pvt. Michael E. Bouthot of Fall River, Mass., wanted to graduate High School to make his Mother proud, and join the Army to make his Country proud. Michael studied culinary arts and graduated Diman Vocational-Technical High School in 2004. He was a member of Grace Gospel Church in Swansea, and he enjoyed music and playing the drums and guitar in his free time. Mike was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Army Good Conduct Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Combat Infantryman Badge, Posthumously. He was also the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, American Service Ribbon and Weapons Qualification Badge/Bar. He was a son of Larry J. and Susan A. Leonard Bouthot. Brother of Edward, Joseph and Amy. He was 19.
