Delma was the middle of three daughters born to John Walter and Nara Maud (Ledbetter) McGinty. She married Burnal Clyde Baker in 1934 and they had one daughter: Mollie Jean.

NIXON -- Delma L. Baker, 86, of Nixon, died Saturday, April 17, 1999.

She was a retired homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church in Nixon.

Survivors: husband, Bernal C. Baker; and daughter, Molly Rowell of Waco; sisters, Evelyn O'Neail of Center and Edith Pullin of Nixon; and two grandsons.

Preceded in death by: parents, John Walter and Nara Maude Letbetter McGinty.

Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. today at Finch Funeral Chapels.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, the Revs. Charles Bush and Jeff Berger officiating.

Burial will be at Bundick Cemetery in Smiley. Finch Funeral Home, Nixon, (830) 582-1521.
