My blog post(s) concerning Clarence and my firm belief that William Lathrop was his father.

Served in the Civil War, Company K of the 4th Michigan Cavalry - enlisted 11/2/1863, mustered out 8/15/1865. Birthdate and location conflicting - death record from vet's facility lists age 70 - birth given as Litchfield NY although census records indicate VT. Death record at the Kent Co Clerks office, Book 7 Pg 81 Line 1794 shows death at age 72yrs, 4 mos, 11 days

1st marriage was to Sabrina Elizabeth Clark who is listed as dying at age 15yrs, 9 months, 11 days on 11/29/1857.
2nd marriage was to Nancy Kellum who he married 7/29/1860.
Sarah was his 3rd wife, having married her 12/1/1872.
