Services for Justo R. Carrillo, 61, of Temple will be at 11 am Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Aguilar and the Rev. Florencio Rodriguez officiating.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7 pm Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
He died Monday, Feb 19, at a Temple Hospital. He was born in Temple to Agapito and Minnie Rodriguez-Carrillo. He married Mary Garcia on Oct 9, 1972, in Temple. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He worked for Santa Fe Railway for many years and Texas A&M University College Station from 1988 to 1991. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors are his wife, Mary G. Carrillo of Temple, six sons, Angel Hernandez of Austin, Mike and Chris Hernandez both of Littlefield, Andrew Carrillo of San Antonio, Philip Carrillo of Kempner and Robert Carrillo of Copperas Cove; four daughters Linday Hernandez of Killeen, Melissa Davis of Moffat, Pauline Scott of North Carolina and Mary Carrillo of Temple; a brother, Timothy Carrillo of San Diego, Calif; four sisters, Lucy Santibanez and Pauline Perez both of Temple, Emily Montez, Maulia Almares both of Ft. Worth; 26 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
