John E. Bond, son of Jessie B. Bond, of 943 Dewey street, this city, is named as the sole beneficiary in the estate of Abby Elizabeth Burritt, who died on December 26, in Bridgeport. The estate aggregates in value about $7,500, of which $3,500 is real estate in this city.
Mrs. Burritt was known to neighbors as a recluse. She lived alone, and was thought to be in poor circumstances. Her will, which has been filed in the office of Judge of Probate Paul L. Miller, shows that she leaves approximately $4,000 in personal property, and $3,500 in real estate. Her only surviving relative is a granddaughter, Mrs. Jessie B. Bond, of this city.
In the will, M. Alice Gould of Bridgeport is named of executrix. The executrix is instructed to hold in trust for the deceased great-grandson, John E. Bond, the entire estate until he shall reach the age of 21. He is allowed the income from the estate regularly until his 21st birthday, at which time the entire principal is to be turned over to him.
