Garvice T. Jobe, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, died September 18.

He is survived by his wife, Lena, of the family home; daughters Sandra Moore and husband Bob of San Jose, California, Sharon Jobe of Albuquerque, NM, and Sarah Norman of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren Jamie Moore, David Moore, Amanda and Adam Norman; and sisters Susie Laverne Kitchens of Yuma, Arizona, and Lillian E. Jobe of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Jobe was a veteran of World War II, having served during the invasions of Normandy, Sicily, and North Africa, and earning the Bronze Star at Normandy. He was a member of the American Legion. Mr. Jobe farmed in Claunch, NM, and later retired from the State of New Mexico.

Services were held September 23rd at Claunch Community Church, Claunch, NM, with Reverend Ray Wells officiating. Interment followed at Claunch Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bob Moore, David Moore, Bill Wells, James Jennings, Joe Petross, and Alton Talley.
