Mr. Albert Batchelder died at his home near Langworthy last Monday evening, the 24th inst. of a kidney trouble. He was born in New Hampshire about 60 years ago. He came to Wayne township about the year 1852 when it contained but few houses and a wide expanse of unbroken land. The widow and three children survive. Mr. Batchelder was a highly esteemed citizen who leaves a wide circle of acquaintances and friends to mourn his death. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon.
