Mr. Beaty, 78, of Oakville, Dies at Bowling Green
Mr. Albert Beaty, 78, died at the Simmons nursing home in Bowling Green Friday, April 3, at 7:30pm.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. John Wood Sunday, April 5, at 2 pm at the Richardson Funeral home with burial in Red Oak cemetery.
Mr. Beaty was born in Logan county, July 19, 1880, the son of Henry Harvey and Melinda Ella Noe Beaty. He married Ruth Russell, a long-time correspondent for The New Democrat who died several years ago.
He was a painter and carpenter of the Oakville community and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. G. W. Reynolds, Bowling Green; three nephews, Garland, Wood and Joe Reynolds, Bowling Green; two nieces, Mrs. J. Richard Berry, Bowling Green and Mrs. Elton Nance, Glasgow.
