But he is remembered by the playwrights co-wrote with his brother, and hsi poems such as "La Lola Se Va a los Puertos," "La Duquesa de Benamejí," "Juan de Mañara," "Las Adelfas," "El Hombre que Murió en la Guerra," "Alma," "Canciones y Dedicatorias," "Cante Hondo," "Phoenix" and "Cadencias de Cadencias." He died in Madrid, Spain.
