Huffman, G Edwin: (1930-1998); "G Edwin Huffman, who was born in Davenport on Aug 4, 1930, to Kenneth and Tabitha (Easton) Huffman, died April 29, 1998 in Spokane. He was 67. A memorial service was held Tuesday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home in Spokane, with Pastor Ray Ruef officiating. Mr Huffman retired from Washington Water Power after working for 33 years as an electrical engineering technician. He was a founding member of the Spokane Soaring Society as well as of the Northwest Soaring Society. Mr Huffman is survived by his wife of 47 years, Dorothy Huffman, at the home; a son, Paul Huffman of Ocean Shores; and a daughter, Dana Huffman of Seattle." (Davenport Times: 5-07-1998)
