Sandra J. Arnold, 65, died 9 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2006, at York Hospital. She was the wife of Walter A. Arnold to whom she was married 49 years. Born May 8, 1940, in York, she was the daughter of the late Emory and Gail (Slaybaugh) Sterner. Mrs. Arnold was a hostess for Servomation, York. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, W. Allen Arnold and his wife, Cindy of York, and Wade Arnold of Lititz; one daughter, Melody Livelsberger and her husband, Richard, Jr. of York; two brothers, Eugene Sterner and Galen Sterner, both of York; and four grandchildren, Justine and Eric Livelsberger, and Kristen and Ashley Arnold. She was preceded in death by a brother, Emory Sterner, Jr. Funeral Friday at ValleyView Alliance Church, Hellam, Pastor Scott Snyder officiating. Burial in Mount Rose Cemetery. [York Daily Record]
