Musician/Entertainer. The internationally known baritone saxophonist received his big break when he signed a recording contract with Capitol Records in 1954. His first record was an original composition called "Restum In Peace Blues" backed with "One-Note Boogie". In 1955 he began an 11 year run as a headliner at the Dream Lounge in Miami Beach, Florida and his live album, "Willie Restum At The Dream Lounge" on the Gone record label remains a favorite among jazz collectors. He moved to Los Angeles in 1966 and for the next four years became a regular performer at the Los Angeles Playboy Club. He also became a regular act in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe sharing the stage with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Tony Bennett and Paul Anka. In 1998 he made a cameo appearance walking on water in the Rolling Stones music video, "Saint Of Me" and in 2005 he appeared in a BBC documentary about Frank Sinatra and his connections to the Mafia titled "Sinatra: Dark Star".
