Deputy Bain had served with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for 14 years and was assigned to the Lancaster station. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, and his parents.
Pierre was a family man who occasionally enjoyed a friendly card game with friends. As an outdoorsman, he enjoyed golfing, off-road motorcycle riding, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed caring for animals including horses and dogs.
