Mrs Ahlf was born in Davenport in January, 1888. She married Ed Ahlf in 1910 and the couple farmed west of Davenport for most of their lives. Two children born to the Ahlfs died in infancy. Mr Ahlf preceded his wife in death in 1950.
Mrs Ahlf was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Davenport. Survivors include a sister, Mrs Anna Bard, Davenport; and two sisters-in-law, Sadie Rummer, Spokane, and Kate Buck of Seattle. The Rev Stanley Williamsen officiated at the service. Interment was at the Mountain View Cemetery, Davenport." (Dav. Times: March 1976)
