Elmer Pannell died in Austin,Texas,he was the fourth of ten children born to Bonnie Pannell and Alberta(Bigham)Pannell.He grew up in Booneville,Mississippi where he graduated from Wick Anderson High School,after graduating he inlisted in the U.S.Army and served in WWII,he dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and became a member of wolf Creek Missionary Baptist Church and served in the military in Fort Hood and made his home in Austin,Texas.He was united in marriage to Mattie Joyce Flowers-Pannell on December 10,1999.
