When she married Horace Parish one transcription shows she was listed using both maiden names of Grace Elizabeth Marsh Brooks. Assumption is she might have been adopted by the Brooks couple, or just used the name. ....... The Brooks couple are buried in the Detroit Cemetery, Detroit, Red River County, Texas.
