Passed away Monday, March 20, 2006, at his home. Mr. Bagley was born July 4, 1940 in Hastings, to Jay and Alma (DeForrest) Bagley. Carroll served his country for 3 years as an MP in the United States Army, and for many years was employed as a machinist with National Waterlift. He enjoyed camping, cutting firewood, fishing, driving his truck, collecting pipes and coins, watching fireworks on his birthday and attending his grandson's baseball games. Family gatherings were important to him and he would often do the grilling. He was proud of and loved his family and his dogs. On August 19, 1967 in Baldwin he married Margaret McKibbin, who survives. Also surviving are six children, James (Tana) Bagley of Battle Creek, Nancy (Joseph) McKibbin of Otsego, Joanne (Larry) Hopkins of Plainwell, Robert (Loree) Bagley of Allegan, Deborah (Dan) Stacey of Scotts and Tammy Bagley of Otsego; 25 grandchildren; 31 great- grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers, Gladys, Barbara, Betty, Forrest and Ronald; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Calhoun; a son, John J. Bagley; and by four brothers and a sister, Kenneth, Robert, Carl, Kendall and Grace. Friends may meet the family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the

Burial of ashes and military honors will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. Contributions in memory of Carroll may be made to Hospice of Greater Kalamazoo or the West Michigan Cancer Center.
